Hey people!

Ever missed birthdays of your loved ones because you simply couldn’t remember the dates? haha it’s completely normal for us to forget things, especially dates! But people don’t really understand that when it comes to not being wished on their special day!

Here is a simple way to bring all the birthdays of your Facebook contacts to your google calendar (this is especially useful if you are an android user!). This way you won’t forget all those especial birthdays and people won’t get upset with you! 😉

1. First, you’d need to log into your Facebook account. On the left hand side, you’d see a link to the “Events” page. Hit that to get started.

2. In the “Events” page, there is a little gear icon on the right hand side, just next to the “Today” field. Click on it and select “Export.”

3. This might be a bit tricky! A new tray will appear with two links. You have to right click with your mouse the text that says “export your friends’ birthdays” and select “Copy link address.” Now you have the link and you can head onto your Google calendar.

4. Now, you need to log in to your Google Calendar, hit the small arrow right of the “Other Calendars” field. From there, you need to “Add by URL.

5. In the new window that would appear, you need to paste the copied link from Facebook. Hit Ctrl-V or right-click and paste the link you already copied in step number three.

6. You’re all done in Google Calendar, and now you need to open the calendar on your android device. On Android, hit the dots to bring up the settings menu and hit “Calendars to display.”

Note: Android devices may have different ways to display calendars depending on the android version you are using. You will find the “Calendars” or “Calendars to Display” under the settings of Calendar app.

There!! you won’t have to worry about remembering all those birthdays ever again!!

Happy remembering!!
